An illegal immigrant found in Kentucky pleaded guilty to illegal re-entry after deportation Friday, a statement from United States Attorney James Zerhusen said.

Roberto Ramos-Rojas, 25, admitted to being an illegal alien after being found in Madison County around Nov. 8, 2009, the statement said. He had previously been deported and was not given permission to reenter the United States.

Ramos-Rojas is scheduled to appear before United States District Court Judge Karen Caldwell on May 26, 2010. He faces a maximum prison sentence of two years.
