    L.A. Raids

Indonesian and Indian citizens are among more than 1,300 suspected illegal immigrants arrested in the Los Angeles area over the past two weeks.

The government has described the crackdown as the "largest ever"of its kind.

The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency says its Fugitive Operations Teams have targeted illegal immigrants who've committed violent crimes or those who've ignored deportation orders.

More than 1,100 of the detainees are from Mexico, whose border is only 250 kilometers south of Los Angeles.

The rest of the illegal immigrants detained include citizens of Indonesia, India, Armenia, Jordan and Peru.

Why do I read this in Australia's media, but not in the US? Why does US MSM only report on deported Mexican illegals, totally ignoring the fact that we are also deporting non-Mexican or non-hispanic illegals?

Ahhh it's sounds soo much better when latino pro-illegal alien groups claim it's all about race, doesn't it?

I was reading an article in the SD Union about a woman from Russia that married an American is facing deportation as well.
So no this is not about one particular race.

The LA "raids" were show raids, that's all. What the MSM is not reporting or burying is that 800 of the 1300 were already in jail, and there's still about 595,000 of these dangerous "immigration fugitives" on the loose.

That said, I'm glad we belatedly caught a few hundred, but this has to be sustained for a prolonged period to have any real effect and this must NOT be used in any way to justify another amnesty attempt.
