Tancredo was actually a Vietnam War draft dodger. After his 1-A student deferments expired he re-applied for a 1-Y deferment citing his mental illness as a teenager. This allowed him to avoid military service in Vietnam. It is true however that he exhibits mental illness at times of stress, so say his close associates.

He became eligible to serve in Vietnam after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in June 1969. Tancredo has said he went for his physical, telling doctors he'd been treated for depression, and eventually got a "1-Y" deferment.

This is all over the net. Just google "Tancredo and 1-Y" . Ron Jenkins who worked on his campaign reported that Tancredo gets real depressed at times of stress and starts talking to himself. He is a real nut!

So...Is there anyone who DOESN'T talk to themselves at times? If THIS is the best anti-Tancredo's can do they're wasting their breath. Depression is NOT taboo anymore, furthermore MOST people have at some time or other talked to themselves. BIG EFFIN DEAL! I'd take Tom over the majority of Repubs or ALL the Dems anyday!

Perhaps those idiots over at La Voz would better be of service to their community by addressing the lead - laden candy they are feeding their children, the alarmingly high rate of mental illness being found in the Latino population, exposing the nasty little secrets of the current administration and certain other folks running for office, or better yet, those within their own "movement" who are exploiting uneducated, illiterate illegals to further their own personal agendas.
