No to all of the above, I-9 is the number of a form employees fill out when first hired, they have to include proof of legal status like a social security card or green card, they have to show the social security or green card to the employer. Here at our company we make a copy of the card. Then the form and card copy goes into the company files in case ICE ever wants to look at it, it doesn't get sent in and probably 99.9% of the time it sits in the file and nobody ever looks at it again.
Similar thing occurs everywhere I've worked. No one ever looks at them again.
