The Latino bias of some elected officials is disturbing, fri

    From: Latina Lista

Last week’s vile comment by Kansas legislator Virgil Peck — that shooting undocumented immigrants from helicopters could be another way to control illegal immigration — sparked a huge outcry from across the nation.

Unfortunately, it’s not an isolated incident.

Other examples of biased politicians, who think their positions shield them from exercising common sense and decency, have also been reported lately in the news for making comments that at the least deserve immediate reprimands and at the most automatic enrollment into diversity sensitivity and Latino 101 classes.

For example, just across the border from Peck’s home state, Oklahoma state Sen. Ralph Shortey thinks he knows it all when it comes to Latino immigrants. He has been making inappropriate comments and sweeping generalizations about undocumented immigrants.

ChicanÃ*sima blogger, Teresa Puente, recounts her exchange with Shortey while attending a recent journalism conference in Oklahoma.

In that exchange, Shortey comes across as being an ignorant politician (â€

Of course 80% of people disagreed with comparing an illegal with a drug dealer. A drug dealer sells to people who want to buy and while it may be a harmful substance everyone involved knows the consequences and risks. Now with illegals they don't sell to people they just steal and hide keeping people unaware of the real danger and risk.

Its a shame to compare a drug dealer with an illegal.... a drug dealer still has some dignity and an illegal is far far more dangerous to the public.

Thus I wish to extend my apologies to all the drug dealers out there slighted by this politician for comparing them to illegals. Sorry dealers, we know your far better then the illegals and as at least you contribute something to society rather then just steal from it.

I personally believe that these comments refer to ways illegals were dealt with in the past. mod-edit Things have changed alot since then and no that we are much more human and now they complain when ICE raids job sites and catch illegals without any physical confrontation.

How would illegal immigrants feel if we Americans traveled unlawfully to Mexico. Invaded the Country undocumented, resided in Mexico, began committing millions of fraud and criminal crimes. Committing sexual crimes against Mexican children, and elderly people. Murdering innocent citizens throughout the Country. Stole jobs via fraud while they lay awake each night trying to figure out where the next meal will come from to feed hungry family members. How would they feel about U.S. females giving birth to thousands of illegal children and their tax money pay doctors and hospital bills? We Americans unlawfully attending schools, colleges in Mexico, protesting on every street corner, holding up America flags and expressing on paper discriminating words, slandering Mexicans because the Country lawmakers wants to have laws enforced to cease unlawful invasions? Sue ranchers after trespassing on private properties, and threatening the lives of innocent farmers. Above all, cannot speak one word of Spanish and expect Mexicans to provide translators while we ram shack the entire Country...Lol and perform every criminal act on the books! This is what they do here in America and have the nerves to walk streets in broad day light, and say they are not afraid. You will be afriad when you are deported!!

I hope they see and read this post, this will keep their mouths closed!
When you aid and support criminals, you live a criminal life style yourself:
