I've always loved the BOSTON TEA PARTY story & details. In those days, Adams had courage to pull that off.

It's funny, but we still that spirit in us when I was a kid. In high school, when the school district refused to replace badly bent (th the point of being all but useless) flatware in our cafeteria, we heisted some metallic calcium from the chem lab and dumped it in the bus trays. As soon as the oil base it was stored in was penetrated by the water in the bus tubs, they all began boiling over as the oxidized calcium concreted all the bad flatware into one crusty mass. We got new flatware. Nowadays if kids tried that they'd probably end up in prison as terrorists. I'm not sure if it's just been bred out of them, but these last few generations just don't strike me as the Boston Teaparty sort.

It was a different time and a different America. Back when we were all just Americans constructive mischief was taken in stride. We're so fragmented now that even an innocent slip of the tongue can get you prosecuted for a hate crime.

Serious rock and a hard place, had_enuf.

I'll send McGavickpence an email telling him how disappointed I am not to be able to vote against Cantwell. He apparently thinks the Latino vote is more important.

Won't be voting for her either.

Can't remember if I can just not vote for either and leave it blank, but I really want to see Cantwell out of there. Then Patty Murray next. Then non-Govenor "let me climb in bed with you Vicente"Gregoire. Washington has a long row to hoe.

BTW CrocketsGhost, I really enjoy your historical insights.

    2nd, let's do tea!
