Thread: Latinos Rattled by Ohio Sheriff's Mission

I would like some e-mail addresses for Homeland Security big shots and the top bureaucrats at ICE. However, I am going to send some scathing comments to a number of Congressmen and tell them I want to see ICE funded and ordered to do its job. For example, Congress can damn well remove some UN funding and direct it where there is a need!

That is exactly the message we want to send. We do not want illegal aliens in our country and you are not welcome. It seems at least some of them are getting the message. This seems like a steam roller gaining momentum as more and more states get on board with enforcing our laws now as they are.

It's time for all those illegally residing in the United States to do one of two things. Get legal or get out. Our country belongs to the citizens of the United States now. We are not living in the past, and we don't care who occupied this land centuries ago. This is our land, our country.
We, the citizens of the United States, have requirements for anyone who wishes to live in this country. It is our law. Either respect our law or suffer the consequences. If you cannot see your way to get legal, you must leave before our representatives escort you to the border.

I`ve been saying "something has to give". If this keeps up we`ll put so much pressure on Bush and Congress that They will have no choice but to reconsider their strategies.

I've been getting the same feeling, ISMITH. Something's cracking slowly but it can be felt!

These are a few recent threads about Sheriff Joe.

If more sheriffs and local police stepped up to the plate, we could get a handle on illegal immigration and businesses that snub their noses tax payers who are picking up the tab while they line their pockets.

Sheriff Richard Jones is just trying to do what he was elected to do. It's a little tough when ICE refuses to do it's job, even when local law enforcement make it easy for them.

According to Frank Wolf (R-VA, 10th District), local authorities CAN detain illegal aliens, charge them with crimes from misdemeanors to felonies, and demand ICE pick them up.

During a Community Meeting in Loudoun County, he said ICE is understaffed and has it's hands full trying to stay on top of the smugglers and drug dealers, which is all the more reason why it should work WITH local law enforcement.
