Berman is sinking into the pit of politics. First, he takes some hardline stances against illegals. Then, he says he would support a state guest worker amnesty program, while standing in front of a crowd of businessmen who also support one. They've got the money, so he has to say what will please them.
I guess he wasn't paying attention to this last election, either. We are tired of the political game players. We are tired of these politicians that talk out of both sides of their mouth and play to the crowd. I'm disappointed in Mr. Berman. Of course, he sort of bristled at the idea of a bill to make an amendment to make English the official language. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
