Gheen has dire predictions if amnesty plan comes true

An immigration enforcement activist says if the American people fail to stop the illegal alien invasion, it won't be just conservatives who will suffer from the fundamental change that will take place in this country.
"If these illegal immigrants ever reach voting status," says Willaim Gheen, "conservatives will look in horror as taxation and tax expenditures go up."
Border enforcement advocates such as Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration, are pleased that U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen has granted a preliminary injunction to temporarily block President Barack Obama's executive action on immigration.
The injunction stops the President's executive action while a lawsuit, filed by 26 states to permanently stop the order, goes through the courts.
A commentary at National Review Online, meanwhile, predicts that an appeals court will overturn Hanen's order, which will make those now praising Hanen unhappy with the results.
If the immigration plan is approved, Gheen predicts that Second Amendment rights and freedom of speech will decrease while "oppression" of conservatives will increase.
The illegal alien invasion will also destroy liberals, he predicts.
"They'll see the same type of tyranny and change in the country destroy what it is that they like," he says, "and they won't be so happy about dictatorial actions at that point. There'll be no conservatives there to help them defend the country from this."
The illegal aliens care nothing about Jeffersonian democracies and the rule of law, and they will help transform this nation into the same kind of Third World countries from whence they came.

John Yoo's article doesn't make any sense. The Judge's ruling on the injunction is one thing. The Judge's ruling on the case is quite another. If John Yoo believes that changing the law isn't rule making and covered by the Procedures Act, then oh my, oh my, do we have a problem. If John Yoo also thinks not prosecuting criminals is the same as legalizing illegal aliens, then oh my, oh my, do we have a problem. The problem is: Berkeley isn't what it sued to be!
When prosecutors decide not to prosecute a case or a group of cases under their discretion, there is first an arrest, and a charge for a crime, to which the prosecutor may decide for a wide variety of reasons not to prosecute certain cases and tries to plea them down. The primary reason they don't prosecute is because there's not enough evidence. But no prosecutor that I'm aware of has ever issued a memo that said he's not trying speeders, trespassers, drinkers in public view, pot smokers, litterers, handicap parking violators, petty thieves or vandals. So, there's nothing at all for an appeals court to hang their hat on to overturn the injunction based on Yoo's prosecutorial discretion.
Furthermore, Obama is doing far more than just not "prosecuting" illegal aliens, he's legalizing them, allowing them to stay with permission, issuing them work authorizations, and giving them tax refunds. That is not prosecutorial discretion, that is changing immigration law, tax law, labor law and civil rights law. Even if you believe incredibly that Obama has that right, he would have to give formal notice for comment to the changes under APA.
Personally, Congress should get busy passing a law that prohibits a) payment of any money or benefit to someone who entered the US illegally or overstayed a visa b) handing out work authorizations to illegal aliens or visa overstays c) making any public official announcement or statement that would encourage an illegal alien to come to the US or encourage them to remain in the US if they are already here.Last edited by Judy; 02-20-2015 at 09:55 PM.

Which is to say that 'Bama is legislating, which he previously on several occasions said that he did not have the power to do. Which he in fact does not.
