I framed homes right out of graduating high school, in 1981. By 1988, I was no longer affordable @ $8 an hour. Illegals took over the framing of new homes and have ever since.
What an outrage. 1988 is just 2 years after the IRCA 1986 Amnesty. IRCA was supposed to "solve the illegal immigration crisis once and for all", according to several members of Congress. And yet, a new crop of illegals was already starting to infiltrate into the US, and forced Floorguy out of his regular job. Atrocious.
