LIBIDIOT from NY challenges Romney on immigration in NH

    Voter challenges Romney on immigration

A weekend crammed with campaigning already is well underway in New Hampshire, which votes Tuesday in presidential primaries.

USA TODAY's David Jackson says Republican Mitt Romney faced some tough questioning at a town hall this morning in Derry. Here's his report:

A man who proclaimed himself a proud Irish immigrant drew cat-calls by asking "have you no shame?" when it comes to immigration policy. "Just remember they're human," the man said, as Romney supporters booed and one man shouted, "Shut up!"

Romney drew a distinction between legal and illegal immigration. The first has re-vitalized the country, he said, but the second has to be addressed because "respect for the rule of law" is a "fundamental principle" of a healthy society.

"I love legal immigration," Romney said. "But I want to end illegal immigration."

It's been a kind of frustrating morning for the former Massachusetts governor. The next questioner asked how tax cuts could help the lower and middle classes. Romney said they would keep the entire economy growing.

Update at 10:35 a.m. ET: Some good news for Romney, David says -- hs immigration inquisitor doesn't live in New Hampshire. His name is Ciaran Staunton, and he owns an Irish bar in New York. Here's more from David:

Staunton said he came to New Hampshire to ask Romney this question on behalf of his organization, the Irish Lobby For Immigration Reform. "His answer was disappointing," Staunton said, largely because Romney once said nice things about comprehensive immigration reform as pushed by the White House.

That plan would have provided a way for most illegal immigrants to apply for citizenship. Staunton said Romney is now "prostituting his soul" to appeal to anti-immigration voters.

I'll bet this Irish jackass was hugging Spitzer during the license fiasco in NY as well as undermining any legitimite debate on illegal immigrations isues affecting New Yorkers.

I could be mistaken, but this may be him:

saw these clowns in Philadelphia bussed in by Kennedy

The "illegal Irish" are quite an organized crowd...and being spurred on by the likes of Ted Kennedy and company since the inception of his Amnesty plan two years ago. I was at the very first "Senate Immigration Hearing" (Pro-Senate Amnesty bill roadshow) held in Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center where Arlen Specter, Ted Kennedy, Michael Bloomberg and Philly Police Commissioner were glorifying the Senate amnesty bill, and crying about how neither NYC nor Philly could do without illegal aliens because of their indispensability to law enforcement operations and economic viability for their large cities. An entire busload of arrogant, disruptive "Illegal Irish" wearing "Legalize the Irish" shirts were brought in by the Kennedy crowd and joined the Mexican, Socialist anarchists from Philly (organized by pony-tailed Ricardo Diaz, a Mexican national). While many of the media were conducting interviews, these clowns would try to disrupt the interviews if they were of anyone who opposed amnesty, etc.
The only anti-illegal immigration and pro-enforcement speaker was Mayor Lou Barletta who was treated with utter disrespect by both Kennedy and Specter.

Many of the so-called "Irish illegals" were brazenly declaring themselves illegal aliens for the cameras. Too bad ICE wasn't there to arrest them all. Many of them own bars/restaurants and hire illegal aliens from MExico and everywhere else. Taxes go unpaid, cash transactions go unreported, you get the picture. That was surely a disgusting display of illegal alien anarchy and arrogance.

I'm Irish and this guy is a moron. I don't care what your ethnicity, race, religion etc. is; illegal is illegal. And if you're illegal get out and come in the right way.
