I just caught the last part of Lou Dobbs on fox... He said that since we have 13% of our houses vacant In the United States,why not let the Japanese that have been displaced from their homes "IMMIGRATE" here and move In WOW That will certainly solve EVERYTHING

I would welcome more Japanese considering this crisis... under the right circumstances.

It isnt about race but simply the numbers for me, sad to say the wealthy elitist in the media believe and perhaps rightly so because of there wealth nothing can affect them or there families so they continue to beg for more people and open borders. Does anyone have a plan when our system breaks. Perhaps China will be kind.

If Japaneses are suffering and need homes after the quake almost destroyed Japan, I would also welcome them with open arms, because I know they will return to their Country once all is reconstructed.

So would we as tax payers also have to feed them, pay for housing, utilities, etc? It's not like we have jobs to hand out so they can pay for everything themselves. >>

I sympathize, I really do but why do we have to be the ones to help everyone out? We are hurting as a Country right now. It would be nice if another country would step up once in a while.

I have sympathy for the Japenese but not for this plan if its going to be tax payers foot the bill to bail out corrupt banks that take repo'd homes from U.S. Citizens for others to live in

and What ... "You want me to pay for it while Americans are homeless

there are 186 other countres out there and the last time I checked.. we were Dirt Broke

While I don't recommend all those people coming over here permenantly, at least the current generation of Japanese does not hate our guts and they are classy-no looting has so far been reported- and they would not form ghettos over here-an it's unlikely we'd have to fear for our lives!!

and a ........... RECORD NUMBER OF VETERANS THAT ARE HOMELESS

Agree, it seems we are our own worse enemy, the time is here now for America to put itself first, selfish perhaps but if we fail then the rest of the world fails if we rebuild into the once great manufacturing society we once had then others will benefit, our current course of allowing everyone to ride the golden goose to death must stop.

I know most of us don't want to admit it however America is failing and to take in more of the world now is bad timing.

I was stationed in Japan hard working honorable people they will rebuild and come back perhaps even better then before.
