Lou Dobbs Tonight
Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Tonight, we’ll have all the latest news from the campaign trail
as the candidates prepare for tomorrow night’s third and final
presidential debate. Plus:lus:

* The community group ACORN has faced repeated accusations of
voter fraud this election year. Conservatives are outraged that
the radical liberal group receives extensive funding from the
federal government. Even some liberal groups are even calling
for ACORN’s leaders to step down.

* The Congressman who promised to restore honor to Florida’s
16th district after the Mark Foley sex scandal has created a
sex scandal of his own. Rep. Tim Mahoney allegedly paid a
former staffer more than a hundred thousand dollars to keep
silent about their involvement. Tonight, we’ll take a look at
sex, lies and cover-ups.

* Unemployed workers across the country may be left without
government assistance as the credit crunch forces many states’
unemployment insurance funds into bankruptcy. States like
Missouri, Michigan, Ohio, New York and California are
suffering. Unemployed workers in those states could be left in
the cold without the program that helps pay their bills and buy
their food while out of work.
