We need to determine if it is legit or fake.

If legit, it can go back on the homepage and into the main archives.

If this is a fake, we want to know who created this fake info so we can blast them and expose them as frauds.

The story has no author or news source listed. There is no date, time or address of where the incident took place. I would wager that this is an invented account. There's absolutely nothing on the web (aside from this verbatim account itself) to indicate this ever actually happened, or that anyone named Patricia Harrington ever was a champion clay-shooter anywhere. No news station, web site or paper has published this story.

Please prove me wrong by providing some verifiable facts or citations!

Rats, sorry about that William, when I saw it on Newsnet14 I thought it was legit

Evidently this story is going all around the internet. Another forum was trying to do the same thing, find out if it was true.

If you follow the sourcing on that newsnet14 site, it leads right back to the Liberty Post copy which then dead ends.

Ok, but can I vote anyway?

Hindsight is 20/20 and I'm not sayin' I wouldn't have believed this was a legitimate story but the biggest give away is the use of the words "illegal aliens" in the opening line. Those two little words rarely cross the lips of journalists. In my area, reporters don't seem to think the legal status of criminals is pertinent.
