Selectmen warned of 'illegal immigrants'

Abington - Oakland Street resident David Lee approached the podium during Tuesday night’s selectmen meeting bearing a poster with upside down American flags, and asked the board to hear him out.

The flags are a request for help and symbolize distress, he said.

“You people don’t realize,â€

What is "Selectmen.?" I've never heard of this before.

the selectmen looks like its another name for councilman

Sounds like an advocacy group or similar to Chamber of Commerce? After living in California my entire life, I am a native Southern Californian, I laugh when I think these States are now just experiencing the onslaught of illegals.

Well Wilma, if Arnie keeps his promise and cuts welfare, maybe they will experience even more of an onslaught when illegals move from here to there. Now maybe they will finally directly experience and understand what we have been screaming about for the past 25 years!!!

I hope you're right Bowman. I read today that now the advocacy groups and the other bleeding hearts are complaining. I don't know I think they'll find some way of keeping the illegals here. They sure aren't leaving down where I'm at!

The OBL would like to keep them here but without jobs and welfare they will relocate. Once 50,000 state workers hit the unemployment line THEY will be joining us in taking jobs and welfare away from the illegals. Economically the worst is yet to come, and we will be getting a lot more members.

I think you're right. We've been on an unsustainable path for a couple of decades and it is finally coming to an end. California should be the poster child for "how not to run a government."

The way California goes, so will the country within 10 years.
