    Man Charged With Hitting And Killing 6-Year-Old

    WEST ALLIS, Wis. -- A 29-year-old man is now charged with hitting and killing a 6-year-old girl with his car.

    Police said Mackenzie J. Maddox was pronounced dead at the scene Monday afternoon, while her mother, Andrea E. Maddox, 25, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

    The two were trying to cross the street near 84th and Cleveland streets when 29-year-old Jose A. Rodriquez from Kenosha struck them with his vehicle.
