Man told by tribe officials not to provide water to illegal migrants

TUCSON - A member of the Tohono O'odham tribe who has been putting out water for illegal immigrants crossing the desert for seven years has been told to stop.
Mike Wilson says he's been told before that the tribe doesn't want him placing water on the southern Arizona reservation to help migrants.
Wilson says he was showing a water station to a group of non-tribal seminary students and two retired ministers on Saturday when he was approached by a tribal officer.
He says his visitors were told to leave the reservation and never return.
Wilson says the tribe has been adamant about not cooperating with his efforts trying to mitigate migrant deaths on its lands.
But Wilson says he's not going to stop.
Tribal officials haven't answered calls seeking comment.

I wonder if Wilson's really a member of the Tohono O'odham Nation or a fabricated member a la Ward Churchill. Either way, this is another bureaucrat from the socialized government school system who believes he's above the law. Time to throw this b*st*rd in the clink. Better yet, dress him in pink and let him live in a sheriff's tent for a couple of years. Then, as a lawbreaker, cut him from the government payroll and let the Mexicans feed him. Apologies for using the term Mexican.
