GOP presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) won a standing ovation at the Values Voter Summit, where he offered a combined pitch for economic-growth-via-immigration and for curbs on abortion.

He said he wants to see a “secured… border,” but also said he wants a “reformed legal immigration system,” which is a euphemism for the increased use of skilled foreign workers in jobs sought by American parents and youths. For example, Rubio’s current I-Squared bill would allow a limitless flow of foreign skilled workers into the U.S. labor market.

Rubio also says a tax reform could help parents. He added by 2020, he hopes America has “done what we needed to do to save Social Security and Medicare” and “reformed the tax code.” He says the tax code must be reformed to encourage marriage rather than punishing it, and make it easier for parents to raise children.

On religion, Rubio said values are important because Americans always have had a debate about what role Faith should play in life and politics.

“As a Christian, I am taught from the earliest days of my life I’m supposed to model Jesus Christ,” Rubio stated, adding that as a Christian he should “be humble” and “that there’s strength in weakness.” Rubio said of his accomplishments and future accomplishments, “I owe to God.”

He said by year 2020, he wants abortions after 20 weeks to be illegal and that no tax payer dollars go toward an organization that conducts this type of activity.

Rubio went on to discuss his family and his parents. “I don’t come from privilege,” Rubio said. “I didn’t inherit any money from my parents.” He added that he is privileged because he’s a citizen of America.

He said his parents’ story, as immigrants who worked hard, is the “essence of the American dream” because “it’s all our stories.”

Well, Jesus Christ didn't rob the people to pay for immigrants. There's nothing remarkable about "your story" because your immigrant parents worked hard. Americans have always worked hard and most of our families have worked far harder than you or yours.

You also lie about your "story". You parents came here for economic reasons, almost 3 years before Castro took over. They did not come here for asylum and weren't granted asylum for political reasons.

You and Fiorina have the same problem. You're liars who can't even tell the truth about your own "stories", the simplest of things for most Americans to talk honestly about, so when you refuse to tell the truth about your own lives, which doesn't even matter except for the fact that it reveals you're both dishonest, how in the hell could we ever trust you to tell the truth about something that does matter??!!

Wow, Rubio is beginning to sound more and more like a snake oil salesman every time I hear him.

No one should criticize Trump for calling him out on foreign policy, immigration, trade, his age, his "story" or anything else. Rubio is not the guy. He really is a clown. He's a vicious free trader, he cast the deciding vote to unleash the Obama Administration to fast-track negotiate this disastrous Trans-Pacific Partnership that will cost Americans millions more manufacturing jobs. He's a Gang of 8'er that would have legalized most illegal aliens and fast-tracked more legal immigrants. Like Fiorina, he's a professional "story-teller" about his own life and when you lie about that, you'll lie about anything. He's a bloviated fast-talker that when he finally shuts up and when you finally get that "rondela, rondela, rondela" candence he uses out of your brain, you wince and ask "what in the hell did he just say?" and no one else knows either.

So Trump is right, Rubio is a clown. Put a big red nose on him, hand him a full box of tissues, play "Tears of a Clown" and kick him to the curb!

This is not the election to play Mr. Nice Guy to people who don't deserve it.
