LOS ANGELES – More than 1,300 illegal immigrants in five Southern California counties were arrested in the past two weeks during one of the nation's largest immigration sweeps, federal officials said yesterday.

Our government needs to demand payment from the countries where these illegal aliens came from. All the costs involved: the costs to arrest and process them, housing them in jail and any social services they have received. No foreign aid until payments have been made.
