He said he intended to use junior colleges to lead the way in retraining displaced workers for new technology jobs. "As president, my highest priority will be to provide the educational and training programs so those who have lost their job can come and apply for a job here," McCain said.
Great! So a 45 years old who has been doing his job for 20 years has to go back to Junior college to get training all because our elected leaders will not protect those jobs and workers here at home.

    McCain, you are a disgrace!

Here--is he speaking of training people from outside the US so they can come HERE (to the US) and get a job?

McCain needs to go back to junior college and retrain in a field other than politics.

This moron is probably going to get blown out of the water in November. It is kind of amazing how out of touch this guy is with the average American.
Yes, McCain is a true keeper of the faith. The religious zeal that puts free-trade on the alter to be preached as the highest moral order. Even Hillary and Barack are trying to out-hawk each other on protectionism, both claiming the other supports free trade more. With McCain there is not argument. He willingly supports NAFTA/free trade. One of the many reasons he will, as you said, get blown out of the water in November.

Look at this guy on trade.....He sucks on every issue. There is absolutely no reason to think of this man as even the lesser of two evils. None.

How's this for a novel idea .......... we stop whatever is causing the displacement of the workers.
Exactly. What happens when you displace millions of good paying manufacturing jobs? You replace them with low-paying service sector jobs. McCain is trying to tell us that we can retrain for better wages. That is bull sh*t. Quality wages is exactly what employers do NOT want in this country. Those jobs end up getting outsourced as well -- IT being a good example.
