Anne Arundel police authorized to detain illegal immigrants for two days

Illegal immigrants wanted by federal authorities now can be housed in Anne Arundel’s detention center for two days, giving immigration officials enough time to investigate deportation procedures, according to a new county policy.

“Currently, we’re restrained in our ability to holding these individuals in local jails for 12 hours,â€

American citizens can be held for up to 72 hours based upon probable cause of committing a crime, without being formally charged with a crime!

Illegal invaders ( who are known to have committed a crime by simply being here illegally) can only be held for 48 hours.

As usual, the illegal invaders are are still getting a good deal from our judicial system! They should be held until the Feds can come and pick them up!
