Drug-related kidnappings in El Paso hard to pin down

El Paso Police Department spokesman Chris Mears said the department is unaware of any kidnappings in El Paso related to the drug cartel war in Juarez, despite a Newsweek magazine report that in 2008 six people were kidnapped in El Paso and taken to Mexico.
