Mexican Military Seizes More Than 1 Ton of Marijuana

MIGUEL ALEMAN - The Mexican military discovered a major stash house in Miguel Aleman. The discovery was part of the ongoing effort to crack down on cartels in Mexico.

The stash house had an underground bunker. Inside it, Mexican military found 123 packages of marijuana, weighing more than a ton. Soldiers also seized one loaded rifle in the bust.

This afternoon’s raid is part of Operation Northeast, which is aimed at stopping the flow of drugs and bringing a sense of safety back to the residents of Mexico.
