Only Democrats care what a head of lettuce costs. That's why they support massive immigration so they can save 50 cents on a head a lettuce once a week, while US taxpayers are out millions a day supporting the unemployment, poverty and national debt caused by it.

Actually it was the so called Republican John McCain that threw out the lettuce challenge. I think that there is very little if any difference between the two parties. Many of the politicians have been in the "club" for decades and like trial lawyers, they rip each other in public and pat each other on the back in private.
