    Mexican National Sentence for Assaulting Agent

    RIO GRANDE CITY - A Mexican national convicted of drug trafficking and assaulting a Border Patrol agent is sentenced to 12 years in prison.

    Investigators say Martin Gonzalez-Ramirez rammed his vehicle into a Border Patrol vehicle during a chase. It happened last May near Rio Grande City. Ramirez then took off running. He was found a short time later.

    Officers say drugs were found in his vehicle.

    What? The BP agent wasn't sued/arrested for placing the huggable IA in danger by knowingly placing his vehicle in the path of the IAs vehicle? Will wonders never cease.
