Mexician commission cancels visit to review conditions locally

Ricardo Juarez-Nava, of Mexicans Without Borders, said there are no plans to for Mexico’s National Commission of the Human Rights to come to Prince William County after recently cancelling a visit.
Juarez said the group contacted him about the visit to talk to Mexican nationals about their living conditions in Prince William County, but he asked them not to come for fear that their visit would be used for political gain by area politicians.
“We cancelled the meeting because we didn’t want the situation to be manipulated and taken in another direction,â€
