Re: Mexico Criticizes Congress for Approving US Immigration
A record number of more than 415 people died crossing the border illegally in 2005, according to statistics from the U.S. Border Patrol for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30. That compares to the previous record of 383 deaths in 2000.
Sad. Tragic. Self-induced. NO one to blame but themselves and Vicente Fox who encourages them to make this "treK' and their mothers sending them off "to risk death for a transfer payment back to her".
It's disgusting and despicable dragging the US down into this Third World Mentality.
STOP IT!!
Make Mexico responsible for all the costs and tragedy associated with these border crossings.
Hey! Send pictures of the corpses with a story about the person and a huge bill to the BILLIONAIRES of MEXICO!
This problem sits SQUARE ON THEIR SHOULDERS....not Ours.

It seems to me that it is high time that these illegals take responsibility for THEIR OWN ACTIONS and stop trying to lay the blame at the feet of the US. When they make that decision to cross the border illegally, they do so knowing full well that there are RISKS involved. So, if they make that choice, they are just going to have to live with it. OR, die with it if that is how it works out. NOBODY wants to see people die but, just like ANY CRIMINAL who breaks the law, they run the risk of the consequences that could well result in being shot by the police or dying in the desert.
Mexico's National Human Rights Commission described the U.S. measure as "part of a tendency to criminalize migration with a wall that calls to mind the Berlin Wall.""POWER TENDS TO CORRUPT AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY." Sir John Dalberg-Acton

They keep referring to the Berlin Wall...that wall had guards with 'shoot to kill' orders. That wall was to keep East Berliners from leaving...they had no legal recourse for visiting families, etc.
AND those were people of the same nation...of the same nationality...etc.
This in no way resembles the Berlin Wall. This intended wall (if it's ever funded) is to stop criminal behavior.
Nobody wants their nation flooded with criminals..theives, rapists, murderers...Mexico herself doesn't want them. So keep your hypocritical mouths shut.

Ross Perot had it nailed right down the line. At the time of his candidacy I wasn't sure that I believed that he pulled out of the race due to threats concerning his daughter...but I did think it was possible...now I think it was probable..Ross wasn't a member of Skull and Bones was he??
He was running very well..and that likely scared the daylights out of the 'leading' candidates.

I agree with you, RR. Had we elected Ross Perot, it would have been a totally different country today. WHAT A LOSS. I DO believe that he was threatened because, in retrospect, we have SEEN how the Bush family engages in the dirtiest form of politics--PERSONAL DESTRUCTION. Nothing that anyone told me that they have done would surprise me now.
No--I'm SURE Ross Perot was NOT a member of Skull and Bones. I think we would have recognized his name if it had been on that list."POWER TENDS TO CORRUPT AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY." Sir John Dalberg-Acton
