As U.S. authorities continue to evacuate areas of the Gulf coast, there are still no Mexicans reported dead.

Mexico offered the United States two Mexican navy ships, 15 amphibious vehicles, two helicopters and 15 heavy trucks on Saturday to help in the relief effort following Hurricane Katrina.
President Vicente Fox said the government had donated US1 million an amount matched by a private Mexican aid foundation for hurricane relief efforts.

"Mexico is a friend (of the United States), and in tough moments, good friends stand together," Fox said. "You can count on our support."

Fox also offered health brigades and rescue teams, including the rescue teams that dug survivors out of Mexico City's devastating 1985 earthquake that killed an estimated 10,000 people.

Fox estimated that about 145,000 Mexicans lived in the broad, multi-state area affected by Katrina, and that about 10,000 lived in New Orleans.

The government has channeled US175,000 to set up consular offices and communications links to help Mexican victims. Fifteen additional consular officials will be dispatched as well.

Meanwhile, Fox has urged Mexican residents to obey U.S. authorities. On Friday, he said that U.S. officials had agreed not to prosecute any undocumented migrants seeking aid.

"We have agreed with the government of the United States that those who were not documented at the time will not be subject to any pressure or persecution whatsoever," Fox said Friday afternoon.

"In this way, they can receive help from the American authorities, they can approach the authorities to point out what they've lost and, above all, to ask for support."

There have not have been reports of any Mexican deaths, but 87 citizens were reported missing.

The government also plans to provide Mexican victims with food, water and shelter and allowing them to call relatives in Mexico.

The government will also assume the travel costs of those who want to return to Mexico, according to the Foreign Relations Secretariat.

Thank you, Vicente Fox. Exactly how many illegal aliens (or should I say "GUEST WORKERS" ) will you be sending to "help" Do you have any estimates on how much money Mexico stands to make off of our disaster Millions? BILLIONS

Well, whatever and whoever you send, I'm sure you'll come out on top, we'll bank on that one. I think we can count on the Hurricane Katrina disaster to strengthen the friendship between you and President Bush very much

    OH PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think for one SECOND that Fox gives a rats AS_ about the American citizens! He_ _ NO. It is greed and self preservation! All he cares about is protecting the chuck wagon that he has established in this country! What people need to understand is Mexico is NOT a poor country! It is the GOVERNMENT and THE RICH that have it all!!!!!!!!!!! They are more than happy to send all of the poor uneducated to the US so they can profit from it! I know that SIXX has been banned from this forum, but at least he had the guts to spell it out without all of the political correct BS. We can no longer worry about PC! That is what is DESTROYING US!

So if I am banned for my feelings, so be it. We cannot afford politcal correctness!

So I guess this is goodbye. I love you guys!!!!!!!!!! I really do! We are beyond talk anymore. They are not listening! They are only posturing. Can you not see this? Tom Tancredo is the only politican (I do not want to refer to him as a politician) that I respect and feel any trust in.

Take care, all of you! I mean that from the bottom of my heart!
    Cheers

Ohflyingone, I don't see anything wrong with what you said!! We agree!! That's why my post was filled with sarcasm towards Vicente Fox!
When I get mad about these so called leaders and what they say, sarcasm helps me a little!!

But, gosh, we agree with you!! Please don't think that we don't.
I would say that the vast majority of us feel that Mr. Fox has no concern for the well-being of the American people at all.

Banned for your feelings? I do not believe we have EVER banned someone for their feelings.

Aside from running out and trying to start an insurection or fleeing the country, politics is the way forward.

Tancredo is good, but please remember that there are thousands upon thousands of Americans out there that are willing to take action and run for office and support campaigns.

No, Bush is not listening and most of the Congress is not listening and their day of political reconing is coming.

We can turn back much of what they do now with the NEW CONGRESS and there will be people all across this nation that will need YOUR HELP!

Going away? Running away? Where is there to run?

This fight is just getting started and we need to stay cool calm and collected.

Political correctness can be a problem, but not the kind that builds unity for our side.

Re: Mexico ready to send aid for Katrina relief

    LegalUSCitizen and Ohflyingone,

Great responses by both of you to this article "Mexico Ready to Send Aid for Katrina Relief." Tonight, I'm so angry after reading this article that I cannot see straight or post a more lengthy response and perhaps I'd be better off not doing so right now on the issues of how Mexico's corrupt leaders and filthy rich elite are shifting their burdens onto America's poor and middle classes - after all none of the massive billions in costs come out of Booshie's private pockets - now do they? This has been my stance for some time but more so since Hurricane Katrina and the implications for legal US citizens and the definite as well as additional future potential freeloading and parasitic actions of Mexican leaders, rich elite and the massive hoards of their poor citizens whom they refuse to take care of, who rob American citizens left and right in so many ways.

I too am sick and tired of "political correctness." I've also heard "PC" stands for "personal catastrophe" or "personal castration." This PC crap - which both major American party offiliations have been dragged to their knees over - is one of the worst things that has ever happened to the USA and it is our undoing and destruction that so many average citizens shrink away when the dreaded phrase is uttered - or worse. Well, this is one American citizen who refuses to wilt or shrink anymore.

Since becoming aware of and getting actively involved on the issues of border security and halting the massive flow of millions of illegal aliens into the USA, I've had the opportunity to personally speak with and educate a number of other citizens on this issue. In no circumstance did anyone ever accuse me of being politically incorrect or even racist (I guess the far left idiot open borders crowd must live somewhere else in the USA but not in my own backyard). On the contrary, when bringing the subject up to friends, neighbors, etc. although I'm reluctant in starting the conversations to begin with because of the PC or worse labels, I have NEVER had anyone disagree with me. On the contrary, the replies - sometimes hesitant to start with - usually start with, "You know, I feel the same way," and/or "Let me tell you about this or that (as it pertains to their own personal experiences with problems dealing with illegal aliens).

The quote below from the article has left me very angry tonight. A short reply follows the quote:

My response is - is this all Mexico is willing to offer the good ole USA AFTER ALL WE"VE DONE FOR THEM in not only foreign aid but in the billions American taxpayers have been forced to spend for their millions of poor who break into the USA illegally and the Mexican government and rich snobs refuse to take care of, themselves? I read the report as Mexico cheaply offers a couple of ships, a couple of helicopters and a few vehicles and trucks? Oh and, yes, one million dollars. This is nothing compared to the billions and billions and billions of dollars American taxpapers spend on illegal alien undocumented workers each year and their illegal children too. Show us the money - BIG MONEY, Foxy, you parasitic, freeloading bullfighting enthusiastic freak, you!
People who take issue with control of population do not understand that if it is not done in a graceful way, nature will do it in a brutal fashion - Henry Kendall

End foreign aid until America fixes it's own poverty first - me

I really need to reread the definition of Friends. I thought friends, don't let you drive drunk. I thought friends, would watch over your house to make sure nothing happen to it. I thought friends, would obey your house rules.

I guess Fox's Definition of friends is take all you can, do what ever you want to. Just send me the money.

But this reminds me of some of the things, my grandfather used to say.

Never trust a Fox in a hen house. ( Fox Must think the US is a hen House)

Fox's are the most deceiving and sly creature made.

    Fox's destroy for no reason.

I guess my grandfather was right when he said this things.
