Thread: Mexico rules out joint border patrols with U.S.

Calderon doesn't want cooperation between the military and law enforcement for a multitude of reasons, not the least of which, IMO, is because the only war he has going against the cartels is a war against whichever one is in competition with his own business interests.

They will take all of the money, equipment, and information we are stupid enough to give them, yet at the same time demand no troops on our border, call for an end to defoliation on the Rio Grande, and flat out refuse to work with our troops and LE......this doesn't raise the least slightest bit of suspicion within our so called government?

It doesn't make any one of them bat an eye that all of this resistance is coming from a guy who was so pissed by no amnesty and a crackdown on his illegal aliens bleeding us dry, etc. that he went around to all of the other Latin countries, as well as re-established ties with Cuba, to form what he called an "anti US alliance"?

No one has managed to make any kind of connection between Calderon's actions and conduct and the fact that other Latin countries are stepping up the anti'American rhetoric, speaking in veiled threats and hints that we are in for a come-uppance, that people like Hugo Chavez are hosting the Russian military within striking distance, and that known terrorists and more and more Chinese are entering this country, largely undetected, via Mexico?

I realize that I may not be one of the alleged "governmental geniuses" running this country but even I know that something is going on here and we're not going to like it when we find out exactly what it is.
