Michigan Democrat Senate Candidate Abdul El-Sayed: ‘I’m the Only One That Will Abolish ICE’ (VIDEO)

Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed made his radical positions crystal clear during a recent campaign rally in Detroit, openly bragging that he is “the only one” pushing socialist-style Medicare for All and vowing to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

El-Sayed stood at a podium in front of a crowd that was waving uniform “Medicare for All” signs with “Fight Oligarchy” on the podium in front of him.

“I’m the only one for Medicare for all. I’m the only one who will abolish ICE,” El-Sayed declared.

The crowd erupted in cheers.

El-Sayed also argued that ICE has nothing to do with immigration enforcement or the southern border.
He recounted visiting Minneapolis during “Project Metro Surge.”

“They want to tell us that ICE is about immigration. They want to tell us that ICE is about the southern border,” he said.

The dopey candidate said that because it was negative two degrees, he thought to himself, “Damn, this is not the southern border!”

El-Sayed, a 40-year-old physician and former director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services under Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, is a leading contender for Michigan’s open Senate seat in the August Democrat primary.

He previously ran for governor in 2018 and has a long record of far-left activism on health care, immigration, and identity politics.

His latest remarks build directly on comments reported by The Gateway Pundit last month.

In a debate hosted by the Council of Baptist Pastors in Detroit, El-Sayed called for Democrats to “stand up to the SAVE America Act” and abolish ICE, claiming the agency “has nothing to do with the southern border” and exists to “normalize putting thugs on our streets to intimidate us from voting.”

El-Sayed has also whined in an interview with leftist streamer Hasan Piker that “white people were the most Islamophobic” and said traveling for college lacrosse games was “tough” because of it.
