Subject: Governor Pawlenty responds to our call

Dear Members
MINN SIR has spoken with Governor Pawlenty's office.
We were informed that Gov. Pawlenty has concerns with those cities practicing
Sanctuary policy - as well. Below you will find a News Release that states that
the Governor did indeed present to legislation the following - therefore... .........
The problems within illegal immigration DO NOT seem to lay with our Governor
but with the Legislative Body in Minnesota.
I can already here several of you thinking - "He could try harder" and that may
be true on its face HOWEVER - lets work with him on this issue - not against him.
Let him know you support this intitative. In addition, the Governor must have members of our
legislation to assist him in getting these proposals passed.

Please immediately start emailing your Legislators DEMANDING they support these
initiatives to tackle criminal activity related to illegal immigration.
FORWARD the News Release below as a reminder of the Governors stance.
Remind them of Newark New Jersey and that their votes, comments and actions will be a matter of record.
Remind them (in a sensible manner) - that they work for us - were elected to office by
We The People and that we will remember.
It is time that Minnesotans and Legal Immigrants are protected. This insanity must stop.

St. Paul – In a series of press conferences around the state, Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced a package of initiatives designed to crack down on criminal activities related to illegal immigration, including the creation of a state Illegal Immigration Enforcement Team. The proposals are partly the result of several meetings the Governor has held with law enforcement officers, local elected officials and other community leaders in recent months.
“As Americans, we are almost all immigrants or descendants of immigrants, and we should support legal immigration. However, illegal immigration is undermining support for legal immigration,â€
