    Election 2008: Best presidential picks
By: William Calhoun | Submitted on: 01/01/07

EDITORIAL - A GOP insider recently confided to me, "Things look bad. Almost all the GOP presidential candidates so far are liberals and support the third-world invasion of America."

    And so it is....

John McCain, Rudolph Giuliani and Condoleezza Rice are all liberals. Mitt Romney is a liberal in disguise. New Gingrich is a neocon. And Sam Brownback and Mike Huckabee are both liberal globalists who support the third-world invasion of America.

In fact, all the above candidates (except possibly Romney, and that's uncertain) support the third-world invasion of America. McCain, Giuliani, and Rice all openly embrace the third-world invasion. Newt Gingrich used to be one of the biggest citizenship auctioneers in the country; Americans for Better Immigration gave him a grade of 'D' on his immigration report card. And Sam Brownback and Mike Huckabee are pro-immigration radicals, who are to the Left of most Democrats on the issue, and openly advance the third-world invasion of America.

Regarding the catering to illegals, McCain, Giuliani, Rice, Gingrich, Brownback and Huckabee would have been tried for treason 50 years ago. But now they want to run for president? O tempora! O mores!

    So, what picks are left?

    Here are our current picks:

GOP: Tom Tancredo or Duncan Hunter
Constitution Party: Jerome Corsi, Michael Peroutka, Chuck Baldwin
    Reform Party: Lou Dobbs

Tom Tancredo has not yet declared, but people are hoping he does. Many too are rooting for Ron Paul, but he has made no announcement. Pat Buchanan would be an excellent candidate to run for the GOP ticket, but he says he has no intention of doing so.

Why should the GOP run liberal when a conservative can win? Recent internal polls at the Democratic Party show that Hillary "left-wing radical" Clinton and Barack "Crackhead" Obama, although they may win the Democratic ticket, have no chance at winning the presidency. This means that someone like Tom Tancredo or Duncan Hunter actually could win. We need a real conservative candidate.

There too still remains Lou Dobbs, whom conservative bloggers are trying to draft for the Reform Party ticket. He has a very large popular following, and could steal votes from both parties.

The two main issues to watch this election are immigration and free trade.

Immigration is the most important issue facing America (and most other first-world countries). If the third-world invasion of America is not halted, America soon will just be another third-world sewer. We need a strong hand at the helm to defeat this deadly invasion. We need deportations, more fences, penalties for employers, and drastic reductions in legal and illegal immigration.

Free trade is the second most important issue. Historically, conservatives have opposed free trade, and they should. It not only is destroying our economy, but it also is eroding our national sovereignty. Unfortunately, many on the GOP have been "neoconned" into supporting this national suicide.

We have a dangerous marriage today that needs to be eradicated: multiculturalism and big business.

During the Cold War, big business would often side with conservatives, as it was prudent to oppose communists. Today, however, big business most often sides with the far Left.

Only look at Wal-Mart. Recently Wal-Mart has started giving enormous sums of money to radical pro-homosexual groups, and last year Wal-Mart gave more money to La Raza than to any other organization. What is La Raza? It is the mestizo pro-immigration group that has called for the complete elimination of the white race.

Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, founder of La Raza, has proudly said: “We have an aging white America…. They are dying…. They are ******** in their pants with fear! I love it!” He then demands: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him.”

And radicals like this have been supported by the likes of McCain, Rice, Giuliani, Gingrich, Brownback and Huckabee. We don't need these backsliders in the White House.

We need a real patriotic American who will put America first, and do what is best for America. In short, we need someone to end this madness. Stop the third-world invasion!

Unfortunately I don't think Tom Tancredo will win even if he runs. He's already got too much heat on him.

But I do think Tancredo could really shake things up even if he doesn't win. And, the more candidates who get into the race early who are against amnesty and open borders, the more this will put the others on the defensive and force them to defend their insane positions. Tancredo would also broadcast the SPP/NAU so that every American finds out what's going on.......I'd really like to see him take the plunge!

I think Congressman Tancredo could certianly win. I think he would bring out more of the conservative vote than he may realize.
Many polls (the true polls anyway) have proven that the majority of Americans want our borders secured and the immigration crisis fixed, and to minimize the exportation of American jobs.
There would be many other issues to campaign with of course, but I believe Congressman Tancredo could most likely win.
In the game of election ploys and campaign strategies, it would be easy to exploit the traitorous acts of McCain, Rice, Romney, and any other liberal puke candidates.

Would I vote for him? Absolutely. But I still don't think he would win with all the reconquistas thirsting for his blood.

Maybe if he was running against Hillary or someone else just as awful.....but I guess we'll see now won't we? This year will be our salvation or the kiss of death.

I want a miltary man that has the right stuff to stand up to the nation and say illegal aliens are an invasion force and we are going to back them down.

I am so done with letting them get away with breaking our laws. I want a man, a real man that will say no and mean it. I want one tough president that is ready to take the lead and get us out of this mess. I like Ike.

I'm done with these silver spoon namby pamby Ivy Leagers! They spend more time sniffing the blooms in the rose garden than they do leading the nation. Go hide at the ranch some more GW. We are better off without you making a mess.

I'm with you Dixie! I've said this before to others. We need a strong leader, someone we can look up to. Most politicians stand there all pc and weak looking. Bush acts like someones puppet.
For the record, Duncan Hunter was a military man and his son is in the military.

Regardless of what Tancredo does, I still think Hunter has the best shot at winning. I agree with TexasCowgirl, Tancredo has made too many enemies along the way and has been tagged as an extremist. Furthermore, his deferment from active military service would, without doubt, hurt him a great deal.

Like I've said before, I share every ALIPAC members deep respect and admiration for what Rep. Tancredo has done and is doing for our cause, I just don't think he can get the necessary votes to take the White House in 2008. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not willing to steer support away from someone I think has a darn good chance of winning to find out. Anyone that compares Tancredo and Hunter will see that each of them share most, if not all, of the same interest and concerns for the future of our country, but they don't both share the same negative baggage.

IMHO, anyone that feels they can support Rep. Tancredo should have absolutely no problems supporting Rep. Hunter. I firmly believe we need to put our support behind the man who shares our values, beliefs, and concerns, but most importantly, has the best chance of fighting for us from the highest public office in the land.

My remarks are not intended to demean Rep. Tancredo, because I think he's a great American!

    Just my opinion.............

    MW,
I agree with you that Duncan Hunter would make a good president. He does have the same tough stance on immigration that Congressman Tancredo does.
