A Lee's Summit, Mo., newlywed is behind bars charged with assaulting her husband. According to court documents, she's denied setting him on fire.

Neighbors said the couple had been married for about a month.

According to court documents, it was a wedding arrangement with some unique details.

Carolyn Grines, 30, told investigators she never loved her husband, but arranged to marry him for $3,000. She said he never paid her.

Grines' husband told police that an argument turned physical at their Lee's Summit apartments. According to the husband, Grines broke tables, glasses and ripped-up the sofa with a box cutter.

Grines' husband told police she dosed him with rubbing alcohol and lit his shirt on fire. He said she helped him put out the flames.

Now, authorities said ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has been notified because of the couple's relationship and the groom's citizenship.

Grines' bond has been set at $100,000.
