Thread: More on Mexicans Going to Canada

I wonder if when Canada turns down their request for refugee status, which they say most of them are traditonally turned down, they will deport to Mexico or just mearly take them to the nearest port of entry like Detroit, or New York State and just escort them across the border?

Well, that will be an interesting scenario that we Americans should observe very closely.

Technically, they could just drop them back into our backyard and say, "YOU need to protect YOUR borders."

But knowing the trouble we are having it would be awfully nice if they would plop them back down where they came from and plop them down hard.

I know that many of those who have been deported were actually put on planes back to their country of citizenship. I don't know what they will do if they use fake ID.

swatchick...what about those illegal immigrants whose children were born in the U.S.? Can these people tell Canadian officials that their children are American citizens; therefore, the entire family should be returned to the U.S. as opposed to Mexico (or whatever their country of citizenship is)?

I don't know about the American born children. They would definitely have to notify the U.S. embassy and they would have to decide what to do. In Canada if a child is born to illegals that child is a Canadian citizen but due to the parents not being legal they deport the whole family.

It would be cheaper for the Canadians to simply drop them back over the US
border, but then again, what are the odds these same latinos won't just jump the US-Canadian border someplace else [the usual MO of illegal aliens from Mexico]? Canada has a quandary on its hands: go cheap and risk them coming back or fly them the whole 9 yards and pay more.

If they can not afford 200 of them what is going to happen when they are up to 2 million or more! I wonder if they will have more compassion for the American taxpayer then.

I am not being a smart ass here I just am curious. Actually I live near the Northern border and find Canadians very friendly and their culture is very much the same as us. My next door neighbor is a Canadian who has been here for almost 20 years on a green card and visits her home every once in a while, she told me most Canadians are actually very much in the dark when it comes to our illegal immigration problems....I told her don't feel bad as most of our own citizens are very much in the dark.

But I think Canada is about to find out just what kind of a problem we have been dealing with.

What does this have to do with SPP? If Bush's agenda is SPP and also Mexico's then I say hey Canada share the wealth of third worldness.

They cannot be illegal in the province of Ontario unless they use stolen ID. To get healthcare you require a healthcard that has your picture on it. Those health cards also need to be renewed. Just like Florida driver's licenses all pictures even the rejects are kept on file. The cards also have a black strip on the back just like credit cards that get swiped when you go to the doctor or hospital.
