More than 250 immigrants surrender south of Granjeno

More than 250 llegal immigrants, including woman and children, are in Border Patrol custody following a mass surrender just south of Granjeno.

The incident happened in an area known as "Rincon Village" just south of Shary Road in Granjeno around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

U.S. Border Patrol officials confirmed that a group of more than 250 illegal immigrants crossed the Rio Grande River and surrendered.

Another group of 100 immigrants surrendered in the same spot on Monday.

Border Patrol officials said the area has become a hot spot for illegal immigrant crossing.

Over the past few weeks, the Rio Grande Valley has seen a record number of illegal immigrants from Central America.

The immigrants are being taken into custody and released with paperwork to appear in court.

Border Patrols officials have brought in extra agents to help with the increased workload.

Where are the Minutemen? Remember a few years back when private citizens literally sat along the border to spot and report to the border patrol when Mexicans were trying to sneak cross the border. HOW ABOUT IT? Isn't it time for real American to take matters into their own hands and go down to the border to assist the border patrol in doing their job when they are sabotaged by the Obama junta?
