I read the book when it first came out. It's excellent!!

    2. The Denver Public Library system has decided to make several libraries into bilingual libraries. They wiil discard 100s of English language books and replace them with Spanish language books. As a part of this effort employees are being told that they will not be promoted if they are not fluent in Spanish.
This is just WRONG. You cannot fire Americans because they don't speak the language of illegal alliens!!!!!!!!

In San Diego, teachers are told they must take 3 semesters of college-level Spanish if they want to renew their credentials. I have a friend who is a Kindergarten teacher who had to go to school nights for 3 semesters and take these stupid classes. They gave her two years to do it; if she failed to comply, she'd lose her teaching credential.

In a way, it's things like this that make me feel like we're winning some battles, but the illegals are winning the war. When American citizens are threatened with losing their jobs because they don't speak the language of people who are mostly in this country illegally, well, that's a pretty huge thing.

SOMEBODY needs to sue over this whole bilingual issue garbage. A group of teachers need to file a class-action lawsuit (with the ACLU and the Teacher's Union behind them) against the School District. They need to protest the blatant discrimination against English-speaking teachers. They need to fight for their jobs, and fight for the right to perform their jobs IN ENGLISH!!!!!!!!

And let me guess she had to float the bill for these "classes" to learn spanish here in America??

Precisely. (See the continuation to my post above, and what I think should be done about this).

If I check this book out at my public library do you think I will be placed on a watch list?

Heck, the public library where I live doesn't even have this book. Nor does it have Jim Gilchrist/Jerome Corsi's Minutemen book; J.D. Hayworth's Whatever it Takes. I asked about Tancredo's book months ago and was told they would 'check on it'.
I guess I will go ahead and buy it, read it, then ask the library if I can donate it, along with the others listed above so they will have them on hand in case someone else wants to read them!
