    Immigrants-rights advocates warned the legislation could hurt the state's economy and lead to an exodus of workers in jobs from construction and poultry processing to restaurants and hotels
    The above gives me some hope this could be effective, but the fact that business groups are unopposed to this gives me some pause. But overall this seems to be a good step.

    Oh, I'm sure the whining is coming...

    A few can't squeal. It would just be too darn obvious...
    (Poultry plants, catfish farms, etc.)
