    Illegal Immigrant Accused Of Selling Fake Social Security Cards In Charlotte

    POSTED: 3:01 pm EDT March 21, 2007

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Federal agents in Charlotte arrested an illegal immigrant they say was selling forged social security cards.

    Warrants from federal court say Pedro Calderon was selling the faux social security cards on Independence Boulevard. They say he told agents he'd made $26,000 recently.

    Investigators are not sure how many fake cards he sold.

    Calderon told agents he came into the country illegally in 1998.

    How much does he charge per card? Divide that into $26000.
