Man admits to being in US illegally
A Nashua man pleaded guilty to illegally re-entering the United States after
being deported to Mexico four times.

Enrique Ramirez-Reyes, 33, now faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and a maximum fine of $250,000.

He entered his guilty plea Monday in United States District Court in Concord.

Ramirez-Reyes, who is also known as Jessi Ramirez, was deported from the United States to Mexico four times from March 1995 through February 2002.

On June 11, an immigration and customs enforcement special agent arrested Ramirez-Reyes for being illegally present in the country.

The court ordered that he be detained until his sentencing hearing, which is scheduled for Jan. 27.
