Names of arrested SB 1070 protesters released

    Arizona Daily Star
    July 30, 2010 5:19 pm

Tucson police have released the names of 11 people who were arrested Thursday evening after they disrupted traffic at a downtown intersection during a protest against SB 1070, Arizona’s new immigration enforcement law, police said.

Police officers arrested the following people: Conor Cash, Justin Helepololei, Jessica Lambertson, Morgan Aricella, Layla Hernandez, Octavio Fuentes, Rachel Richardson, Alfred Chavez, Danielle Alvardo, Robinson Block and Skylar Clary.

They are all facing one count of disorderly conduct.

Another man, Christian Ziegeler, was arrested on suspicion of one count of threats and intimidation, police said.

The people were suspected of walking into the intersection of West Congress Street and North Granada Avenue during rush hour, triggering arrests and street closures.

The intersection was closed for about 30 minutes after the demonstrators stood in the intersection.

I read a few non-hispanic sounding names on that list. Don't those people understand that now they have an arrest record? Do they think it was worth a few moments of civil unrest to be marked now as a criminal? On nearly every job application is the question, "Have you ever been arrested?" What will they answer? It is so difficult to find a job these days, and now they've added to their status as an undesirable employee!! Smart!!

Universities would hire them in a second, probably feel this is a plus on their resume.

Yes, these non-hispanic names are from ANSWER and unions. They have probably all been arrested for this this before as they were probably paid tom attend and disrupt. It's worth it to them because their goal is to destroy America and promote socialism.

Christian D. Ziegeler of Tucson, AZ has about 37 arrest records in Pima County since 1999.

Conner Cash also of Tuscon formerly of Long Island NY, he is no stranger to trouble. Seems Cash is part of a left wing community organizing group:

    Conor Cash
Long Island activist Conor Cash was accused of various actions claimed by the ELF in 2000 including an arson of mansions under construction & a failed attempt to free ducks from a farm. In 2004, Cash was acquitted by a jury because the jurors did not find the two witnesses in the case credible. The two men pled guilty in this case and agreed to testify against Cash in return for leniency. The FBI painted Conor Cash as a 'ringleader' of an ELF cell despite the fact that he proclaimed his innocence from the outset and was a very well known public activist. He was charged with arson, conspiracy and for a short time, aiding and abetting terrorism before being acquitted in 2004.

Justin Helepololei of Scottsdale, AZ is a student from AZ State Univ. and anthropology senior. He is also a member of ASU Students Against Joe Arpaio.

Jessica Lambertson an NYU graduate worked with the Graduate School Organizing Committee, the GSOC/UAW Local 2110.

Layla A. Hernandez of Tuscon, AZ, a student at U of Az

Octavio Fuentes of Tuscon, AZ, also a product of U of Az. Now an immigrants right activist.

Alfred Chavez, from Tuscon, his face book page of his heros in the Brown Berets says it all.

These are misdemeanor arrest, not felonies.
Not much of a problem for most jobs.
