“I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of one of our own. Agent Robert Rosas was gunned down while protecting our nation’s Southwest border. This act of violence will not stand—nor will any act of violence against the Border Patrol. I have directed that the full resources of the Department assist in the investigation to find and bring to justice those responsible for this inexcusable crime.

“My thoughts and condolences are with Agent Rosas’ family and his fellow agents at this difficult time. I want to commend those in the law enforcement and first responder community in Southern California for so quickly responding to the scene and attempting to save Agent Rosas’ life. His death is a vivid reminder that we are engaged in a serious effort to secure our border and that thousands of Border Patrol agents and other DHS employees risk their lives every single day to protect and defend our nation.â€

Will Obama and Napolitano now secure our border and stop the invasion of our country

by Mexican drug gang members and millions of other illegal aliens from all over the world.

If we had armed troops on the border, murder by illegal Mexicans and the cartels would be less frequent. Our country is being trashed by thugs coming accross our border and Homeland Security is breaking its back to make illegal aliens feel less threatened by police officers.

Its not enough Janet...SECURE OUR BORDER and quit screwing around. 8 years and billions of taxpayer $$$$$ after 9/11, no more excuses, America is better than that and if you can't do the job GET OUT and let someone else who really cares about our country, security and illegal immigration do the job!

I dont understand why our troops are not the ones securing the border. There are plenty of them looking for work and I think there should be a branch in the military assigned to secure the borders. They send the border patrol agents without the right equipment in the dark (no night vision goggles). So they kill innocent people, cross the border, and pretty soon they will have free healthcare to go with it. Words can not explain how that makes me feel!

but prayers and thoughts go out to the entire Border patrol for doing their job. and my thoughts go out to the wife and the two small children who NOW WILL never grow up with a father.


ya know, ive called the mexican consulate in san diego before when they wanted border patrol agents investigated for supposed wrong doings to mexicans crossing illegally, i wonder what kind of lame excuse they would have for this murder.... rather assassination of a federal agent.
