What goes around comes around LaRaza. Don't count the Americans out.

I suppose it is a diasappointment, yet we are living in a globalizing economy and these young people, from experiences gained by living in the United States, will be able to find a satisfactory niche somewhere in this world. And if they are bilingual that is certainly another good card to have in your hand.

For the young people who are actually citizens of this country, they are growing up in a troubled world in which the US is still expected to exert a leadership role. I don't know if someone growing up in Latin America ever understands the awesome responsibility that rests upon the shoulders of Americans---we're always asked to step in where there is trouble.

    Oops! Duplicate post.
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

The United States is not in the business of making criminals' dreams come true, Janet. So get over yourself.

The only "dream" that matters to Americans is to rid the United States of the freeloading illegal aliens once and for all.

The 52 senators who voted for this "drem" act need to be deported with the rest of the illegals. Obviously those 52 senators are more in tune with social ethnocentric groups than they are in tune with their constituents. It is unconscionable to think that 82% of americans are against amnesty and yet this congress continues to try and push through amnesty piece by piece without any border security reinforcement. If congress were serious, if the president were serious THAT WALL WOULD OF BEEN BUILT AND I MEAN 3 LAYERS DEEP MONTHS AGO! And because only so many miles have been built, only 1 layer deep the american people know that these politcians just want the amnesty and are not serious at all about the border being secure. The border patrol can't even do their job look at Compeon and Ramos who sit in jail while a drug smuggler goes free. In the words of Lou Dobbs, "THAT'S JUST UTTERLY DISGUSTING!"...

That's right. Don't tell me how sincere they are about caring for the Dreamies if they aren't sincere about the American people. At least half of the are hacks pure and simple. Well simple for sure.

Well they had to say something .
    lol

I have always thought that the people that run Laraza have had to have re think the whole approach and side with Americans
If they are a Hispanic civil rights group that’s what they need to be working on.
I’m not sure any immigration issue at this point has any thing to do with anyone’s civil rights except Americans…
Those rights (our rights) are being walked all over

Another thought. Durbin was saying that these kids are in the U.S. through no fault of their own. Probably true. But, it isn't our fault either. Why are we being asked to pay for the bad decisions of illegal alien parents? We should give them citizenship because their parents broke the law??

I also find it amusing that if these kids were to gain a green card, they could bring over their family. So, the kid gets to legally bring in the parents who illegally brought the kid in and then they all get citizenship!!!! What a deal. Almost as good as getting a New York drivers license!
