Lincoln County to cut services used by illegal residents

LINCOLNTON, N.C. (AP) - Lincoln County commissioners are cutting services used by illegal immigrants.

They're concerned similar policies in nearby counties could lead to more illegal residents in Lincoln County, which could overrun jails, social services, schools, and affordable housing.

The resolution adopted unanimously by the all-Republican board orders county officials to stop funding for services used by illegal residents that are --not-- mandated by the federal government.

The resolution also prohibits county departments from contracting with companies that hire illegal residents. It directs the sheriff to verify the immigration status of people who are arrested and to work with federal officials to deport illegal residents.

It's similar to resolutions in Gaston and Mecklenburg counties.

Can someone with a fax send the town the ALIPAC flier on New Haven. Maybe someone in Lincolnton would post them...or at least get a chuckle.

Send all illegals to New Haven and then we can just fence off the city and cut off all federal funding.

Everyone of these is a point for our side way to go time to get tough!!!!

then ICE can set up a booth so the illegals can sign themselves up to be deported... deportation through attrition! if given the incentives they will leave on their own. enforce all laws!!

Wow!!! That snowball is rolling and getting bigger by the minute!! And for illegals, this country just keeps getting that much smaller every day!!!

Pretty soon these "indigenous people" will have no choice but to roam their butts freely across the continent and back to where they came from.
