Nebraska's three Catholic bishops are urging state and local lawmakers to act carefully on illegal immigration or risk causing a backlash of discrimination and intimidation.

Good Lord! These preachers are telling us we are "discriminating" against criminals? Fine! Open the doors on every single American prison and let them all out!! Every single American convict has been discriminated against too. They broke the law and we were soooo mean, we imprisoned them. Let 'em all out!! Then send them to these three morons.

"People come here with hopes of economic benefits, so it's not a healthy situation," he said.

Dendinger said they're addressing the issue is because they see it first hand at churches like St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island where immigrants come, knowing it's a safe place to get help.

He said, "They were coming to churches, seeking help from food to money."

That right there is what worries the churches. More illegal aliens expecting churches to give them food and money. The churches would loose billions. They need to protect their cash, that's why they are fighting the rule of law.

If $$$ dried up for "community outreach" watch how quickly churches would start lobbying for enforcement.
