Forty-four undocumented students are taking advantage of the Nebraska dream act. Thirty-five are in the University of Nebraska system (17 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, three at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, 15 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney), eight are at community colleges, and one attends a state college.

Don't colleges claim to not know how many illegal aliens attend their colleges or who they are?

HELLO??? Something is soo wrong when so many officials repeatedly violate federal laws by aiding and abetting illegal aliens. For one, colleges who even admit illegal aliens should not be receiving federal funds and two, they should be forced to report illegal aliens to ICE!!!

So, how will this work at the college registrar office?

Clerk: "Are you a resident of Nebraska?"
Student 1: "Yes, Lincoln."
Clerk: "OK, you get in-state tuition. Next."

Clerk: "Are you a resident of Nebraska?"
Student 2: "No, Wisconsin."
Clerk: "Oh, you'll have to pay out-of-state tuition."
Student 2: "OK, that's sounds fair."
Clerk: "Next."

Clerk: "Are you a resident of Nebraska?"
Student 3: "No."
Clerk: "Oh, you'll have to pay out-of-state tution."
Student 3: "But wait a minute. I'm in the U.S. illegally."
Clerk: "Can you prove your illegal status?"
Student 3: "Yes, I have a foreign birth certificate, no drivers license, no green card, no visa and no social security card."
Clerk: "OK, well that's fine. You get in-state tuition. Next."

Yes, it's quite an example of how upside down things are isn't it?

People who should not even be in our country can get in-state tuition but citizens from another state can't. Unbelievable!
