According to this article for the 2,800 Illegal Alien women who received prenatal care in the last fiscal year, the 40% cost to Nebraska taxpayers was $1,064,000 and the healthcare facilities made $1,596,000 from Medicaid. Hmmmm. Let's see now, let's add the cost of a vaginal birth with NO complications at the national average at $17,000 x 2,800 Illegal Aliens = $47,600,000 x 40% cost to Nebraskans was $18,800,000 and Healtcare facilities made $28,200,000 from Medicaid. Now let's take the c-sections with NO complications national average @ $25,000 x 2,800 Illegal Aliens = $70million x 40% cost to Nebraskans $28million and the healthcare facilities made $42 million from Medicaid.
Wow, how generous the Ultra Liberal Socialists are with Nebraska Taxpayer money!

Now we understand why 17 Healthcare facilities showed up to testify in support of this bill....except they weren't telling us how much money they would lose...they kept saying... our babies, our children....(excuse me I had to blow my nose and wipe my tears).

Let me tell you something lawmakers, if YOU do NOT have the BACKBONE to stand up to the PROFITEERS OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, then GET OUT OF OUR UNICAMERAL!

How DARE you campaign stump, misleading voting citizens to think you were running for office to protect our interests. How DARE you back down because pro-life groups are misguided by thinking this is a pro-life issue!

Keep us posted on this. The pro-life groups are making a terrible mistake. It's really a tragedy that at this pivotal point in time pro-lifers would decide to take a stand in favor of something that's none of their business to begin with and then use their organizations to promote another magnet for the destruction of our nation, illegal immigration.

Sad. Sad. Sad. And Shame On Them. This should be a Major Wake-Up call to every American about what some of these organizations are really about, which is obviously not what they say and not even close to what they seem.

The very thought of these pregnant illegal aliens walking into a doctor's office or a lab or a hospital in the US for "pre-natal anchor babyism care" for any reason let alone at taxpayers expense makes me want to puke.

I am 100% prolife and worked with and counseled many women in crisis pregnancies, including I suspect, illegal aliens. That being said, I believe the greatest devastation illegals have wracked on this country, more than stealing U.S. jobs, is by birthing anchor kids here and having American taxpayers support them. The issues should not be confused; a right to life does not mean a right to be here in this country illegally.
