At Border, Fatal Shot Still Rings
The U.S. says its agent responded to an assault. But in Mexico, outrage over a father's death leads to demands for an inquiry and justice.

"We've been warning people," said one longtime border agent who spoke on condition of anonymity. "Now it happens, and everybody's shocked."
It'll only get worse for agents now. They've already been fired on at least 2 times I remember reading about. Once was while in a boat in the river. The boat was hit 5 times.

Where the hell is the military?

    Where the hell is Bush?

Omaha Nebraska media by its inactions will allow the USA to be invaded, Americans killed, raped, harmed in so many ways.

Freedom of the press is wonderful for those that can afford the presses.

    Broadcasting takes lots of money.

Out elites are throwing us to the wolves.

How can we reach the masses?

I have spoken aloud to spread the word of the dangers facing us. Strangers, co-workers, at college, anywhere I could, for years I did what I could.

But, one person's voice does not convey NEARLY as much impact when the warning comes from a media source.

    Alas....... we are likely doomed.

Bow down to our newest overlords... from below the border.

Meanwhile, as our society crumbles the ruling elite class of the USA and Mexico grow evermore powerful and wealthier.

Martinez, many residents say, was a smuggler, but he didn't deserve to be killed for helping people reunite families or realize their dreams.

I mean, you can't get much lower than this. They even ADMIT the man was a smuggler but they think that we should just sit back and watch him break our laws over and over and over??? And, when our Border Patrol faces threats to their safety day after day, what do they EXPECT them to do?? If Mexico would do what they SHOULD be doing and working WITH US rather than AGAINST US, this problem would never have arisen. These people just BEAT ALL. I have never WITNESSED SUCH ARROGANCE.

Since the shooting, Mexican law enforcement agencies have stepped up patrols to discourage crossings and have agreed to erect signs warning people that assaulting U.S. agents is against the law.
Well, isn't this special of them.

"Guillermo Martinez Rodriguez, you will be remembered, my brother, and your name and story will be heard from coast to coast. We demand an end to the genocide of the Latino community by the … continued militarization of the border," said Enrique Morones, president of the Border Angels, a San Diego-based immigrant rights group.
Hey idiot, if our border was really militarized, your ilk wouldn't be invading this country anymore. Why is it ok for Vicente to militarize his borders with Guatamela, but it's not ok for us to do the same with our borders?

Since the shooting, Mexican law enforcement agencies have stepped up patrols to discourage crossings and have agreed to erect signs warning people that assaulting U.S. agents is against the law.
That's pretty pathetic that any one person has to be reminded of that, but I guess when you live in a certified sh-t heap like Mexihole who's whole country has an average IQ of 87 what do you expect? Isn't that nice of Mexihole to step up their patrols? Too bad they are probably still aiding and abetting them on entering this country illegally.

The man appeared to throw a rock, prompting the agent, whose name has not been released, to fire a single shot, police say. Because the wounded man fled back to Mexico, U.S. authorities say they haven't been able to confirm his identity.

Mexican officials said Martinez was taken to a Tijuana hospital and died the next day. He was shot in the back from about 16 feet away, according to the Mexicans' preliminary investigation.

Mexican media have portrayed Martinez as a hard-working father of two who had crossed into the U.S. in search of work.

But Border Patrol officials said Martinez was a smuggler who had been arrested 11 times on suspicion of guiding migrants across the border.
So basically the thug got what he deserved. So what's the big deal?

For residents here, the rusty fence is an ugly, offensive and unnecessary barrier to California, where many people work or have family.
Oh that pesky fence. Who do those Americans think they are defending their country from us?

Martinez, many residents say, was a smuggler, but he didn't deserve to be killed for helping people reunite families or realize their dreams.
Wait a minute here. First you admit the scumbag was a criminal smuggler who exploits the plight of these people for financial gain and second don't give me this guilt trip about reuniting families garbage. It is the illegal aliens who make the choice to come here illegally and move away from their families. Maybe if you people would have the guts to demand that Vicente take care of your own people then maybe people wouldn't be encouraged to come here in droves and seperate families in the first place. That crap is Mexico's problem, not ours. In case you haven't noticed, human smuggling in this country is a felony.

"It was a rock against a bullet," said Ignacio Montano, 36, a Colonia Libertad resident, who called the agent's actions excessive.
So what? If the idiot didn't throw the rock he would still be alive today. Maybe that will teach you scum not to provoke those who are trying to defend our homeland, especially when we are at war.

When agents erect cameras, smugglers shoot them down. When agents use pepper ball launchers, gang members fire back with ball-bearing-loaded slingshots. Gang members wear bandannas and dress in layers of clothing, providing extra padding that agents say make the pepper balls ineffective.

When Martinez picked up the rock, agents say, he became a deadly threat. And with assaults against agents reaching record levels, the agent's response was not a surprise.

"We've been warning people," said one longtime border agent who spoke on condition of anonymity. "Now it happens, and everybody's shocked."
This is why Jorge Bush is a disgrace to the office of president. It's obvious to even the biggest moron that our BP is underfuned, undermanned, is suffering from a lack of resources and is bogged down with way too much red tape. Where is Bush on this? Our citizens and our BP are being attacked on a daily basis by these latin thugs who are invading our country by the thousands and all this a-hole can do is sit back and talk about good hearted folks and guest workers. The coward has absolutely no damn backbone what so ever. A corrupt third world nation makes all these demands on us and spews their hate filled venom at us and Bush says and does nothing. Yet he'll move heaven and earth to go attack some fake threat 3,000 miles away. IMPEACH THIS A-HOLE BEFORE HE DOES MORE DAMAGE.

If your PRESIDUNCE would put the military on the border, I would hazard a guess that there would be no more ROCK THROWING. The border patrol agent MIGHT have thought it was an IED.

Well we all know Bush would never do that. If the military gets placed on the border it will be by an act of congress or from severe public protest. In other words it will only happen in spite of Bush not because of him. Get out there, get loud, get proud and pressure Congress into getting our troops on the border.

    PUT TROOPS ON OUR BORDERS

IMPEACH THE WACKIDENT AND HIS ENTIRE ADMINISTRATION
