One of the most influential owners of the New York Times, their bail-out lender, Carlos Slim, is from Mexico and has a monopoly on cell phone sales. The more illegal aliens who come to the United States from Mexico and remit money back to Mexico, the more cell phones he sells.

But that all may be coming to an end since Carlos is going to have to break up his companies because of anti-trust violations in Mexico.
