Thread: A new YouGov poll released this week may have just pinpointed the key to Donald Trump

He speaks off the cuff, doesn’t apologize, and promises to “Make America Great Again.” But it’s not any of these points that seem to have captivated the American public.

No, the YouGov poll indicates that Trump’s ongoing popularity could be due to one key issue: illegal immigration. According to the polling group, an astounding 92 percent of Americans believe that illegal immigration is a problem, with around 75 percent of those respondents calling it a “serious” issue.

I guess we'll eventually see just how many decide to put their vote where the problem is.

J.C. Penney was nearly a total failure at business, at age 65 he founded the J.C. Penney retail stores. More businesses fail than succeed, it is known as free enterprise.

My point was to show that he is not perfect ........ he's had his share of failures.

Walker at 0% in new national poll

Madison (WKOW) -- A new national poll shows Governor Scott Walker polling at 0 percent in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

The CNN/ORC poll released Sunday shows there were five candidates who received less than one percent of support from likely Republican voters. Walker was among them, joined by former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and former New York Governor George Pataki. Less than one percent equates to zero percent, statistically.

The results show Donald Trump is still the front-runner with 24 percent, but has lost ground from earlier in the month. However Carly Fiorina jumped to second place with 15 percent.

Another category Walker falters in is recognition. Walker has the second-worst polling numbers in name recognition. The poll shows 25 percent of likely Republican voters say they've never heard of him. All other candidates except for Ohio governor John Kasich were more recognizable to likely Republicans.

The poll began the day after the most recent Republican debate on CNN.

southBronx! Thank you for mentioning about the Marine Trump helped get out of the Mexican prison! That was a great thing he did. I love Trump!

Greta Van Susteren told her audience this week that it was true that Donald Trump helped out Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi after his release from a Mexican jail. Greta also said Obama wouldn’t even pick up a phone to help the Marine.

“In all seriousness, Donald did help out Sgt. Tahmooressi. He sent him some money to help him jump start his life. Sgt. Tahmooressi rotted in a Mexican prison for 214 days.President Obama wouldn’t even pick up the phone to help.”

But Obama did have plenty of time to go golfing while Marine Sgt. Tahmooressi rotted in a Mexican prison.

A source told TRN that the “money” Trump sent Tahmoreesi was “very substantial,” and included paying all of the family’s legal bills, financial needs while he was held prisoner for nearly a year, and cash to get him back on his feet.

Kudos to Trump for this generosity and patriotism, and also for giving Greta great credit for her efforts.

Amazing! This is the 1st I've heard mention of this. Although not surprised, I am very disgusted that I have not seen a story like this on the televised news syndicates. Maybe I just missed the news presentation on this one. Or maybe the media was all set to run this story until Fake Clock Boy emerged.

Obviously, clock boy's intuitive e-bay purchase out ways saving a Marine's life.

I think this is a huge story about the real character of Donald Trump, and how hard and smart he would fight to get our people home while a Carly Fiorina is devising ways to legalize illegal aliens and sell goods to Iran in violation of US sanctions.
