Investigators from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office visited the site of Wyatt Construction located at 3306 Highway 98, Mexico Beach, Thursday after complaints had been received regarding suspected illegal aliens working at this job site.

A check with the construction site superintendent found that several illegal aliens had produced stolen social security numbers to gain employment.

The following individuals were arrested as a result of this check:

Antonio Moctezuma Solis, DOB 6/13/69 of 9330 Olive Avenue, Port St. Joe
Charge: Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information
Place of birth: Mexico

Jaime Moreno Solis DOB 4/30/78 of 9330 Olive Avenue, Port St. Joe
Charge: Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information
Place of birth: Mexico

Gerardo Solis Moreno DOB 6/30/84 of 9330 Olive Avenue, Port St. Joe
Charge: Criminal Use of Personal Identification Information

Manuel Jesus Arevalo DOB 12/06/69 of 106 C Beulah Avenue, Panama City

Illegal Alien Queries (IAQ) have been run on these 9 individuals but information on their status has not yet returned. Information on their arrests has been turned over to local Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Members of the Bay County Sheriff’s Office have been able to contact many of the individuals whose social security numbers have been used by these individuals. These victims, while distressed about learning their SS numbers have been stolen, have expressed gratitude to the BCSO for it’s efforts in these investigations.
